2021 Virtual Meeting

CCPA Conference – Online March 11–12, 2021

The 2021 Conference will be held online, using the REMO platform.  An invitation to the platform will be emailed to all registered individuals the week of the conference.   There will a separate link for each day of the conference.

ABOUT REMO

REMO is an online platform for conferencing that has options for real time face-to-face interaction, asking questions through video and chat threads, and virtual networking possibilities.  It was used by during the 2020 ACRA conference and was both easy and fun.  The conference will include most of the aspects of the in-person meeting including multiple presentation sessions, online posters, a business meeting, and student paper/poster competitions.  The only difference is the format.

  • Tuesday, March 9th: Student affairs’ evening meet and greet

One-third of all conference registration fees will go to CCPA’s Ward Weakly Scholarship and Native American Scholarship funds.  Another one-third of the registration fees will be donated to non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting communities during COVID (see below).  These donations are possible because the costs associated with the online event are significantly lower than our normal in-person event, and CCPA is in a fortunate position to give back during the pandemic.

More information on the supported COVID-relief funds is available here:

John Hopkins Center for American Indian Health: https://caih.jhu.edu/

Adopt-a-Native-Elder: https://www.anelder.org/
